»TRAMONTANA« SPORTS FISHING CLUB

The Sports Club was established at the initiation of few sport fishing enthusiasts and sea lovers in 2005 at Izola. Nowadays, the Sports Club abounds in more than 50 members taking part in various sport fishing competitions/contests at local, national and international level. In otherwise brief history they achieved quite a few remarkable results in the field of marine sport fishing.

Among most significant results, the following are to be mentioned:

• »Mimoza Cup« 2005: 1. First place in group competition and first place in individual's competition. This Cup is very precious/noble also because it was won in the keen competition of participants from various countries, such as Slovenia, Croatia, Italy, Serbia, Hungary and Montenegro;
• National Championship at the rocky coast in 2006: 1. First place in group competition and first place in individual's competition.
• European Championship (»tonja« fishing) 2007: 1. First and second place in individual's competition and third place in group competition;
• »Mimoza Cup« 2009: First place in group competition and second and third place in individual's competition.

The Sports Club members will take great delight in disclosing the secrets of »fishing happiness/joy« to visitors.
